Commercial & Industrial Geothermal!

CLAD (Closed Loop Advection Dominated)

CLAD is a closed-loop geothermal system. Where it differs from the conventional closed-loop systems is its construction underground. CLAD eliminates the dependence of thermal resistance offered by grout and ground strata and benefits from advection-based heat transfer. CLAD is commercially viable and needs up to 80% less ground area.  

SHCEL (Stratified Heating & Cooling Equipment Less)

SCHEL eliminates or significantly downsizes HVAC equipment. SCHEL can be implemented where there is cooler ground temperature near surface and warmer temperature at depth. For instance, in northwestern US, near surface temperature is in the range of 50 deg F, whereas the temperature at 3500 feet is in the range of 150 deg F. SCHEL uses this stratified temperature zones to heat or cool buildings.

WaaS (Water as a Service)

WaaS is a district heating and cooling geothermal system. WaaS is most suitable for heating and cooling needs of communities and industrial complexes. WaaS can use large water bodies or CLAD installations along side pathways and on open areas.

IoG (Internet of Geothermal) - an IoT Solution

IoG is a cloud computing platform that connects with every Genesys’ geothermal well through a bunch of wireless sensors that shares the wells’ operating data continuously. HVAC Energy Audit Services

As the system ages, the system components do not perform as per the original intent. The efficiency drops, energy consumption increases, or capacity gets compromised. As a result, two problems crop up – building occupants face a bad indoor environment, and the energy bill increases. Our audit services help you get clarity on the health status of the system. We also recommend possible solutions to restore the HVAC performance.

Heat Recovery Systems

Most buildings have heat recovery opportunities. One area is fresh air systems. Another area is where heating and cooling are required at the same time. One more area is waste heat. And there are more such opportunities. The heat recovery systems are typically simple to implement. But the benefit in terms of load reduction and energy saving is significant enough.

Condenser Re-tubing

When chillers/ rooftops work with conventional heat exchange methods such as air-cooled condensers or cooling-tower-based water-cooled condensers, they acquire unwanted scaling/ oxidation. The scaling creates resistance to heat transfer, thereby compromising the capacity and energy efficiency. Our teams can assess the health of the heat exchangers and carry out tubes refurbishment to restore performance.

As chillers, rooftops, air-handlers, and pumps age, their efficiency drops. One option is to replace the aged systems. But in many cases, a simple retrofit of a few components of the systems can serve the purpose. Our retrofitting experts can help our customers save unplanned capital spending. Effective management of the chiller plant can help reduce energy consumption. Our chiller plant management system is a simplified system specially designed for installation and operation ease. The system adopts wireless sensors connected directly to a cloud server which is remotely accessible from anywhere. 

Ducts & Pipes Renovation

Air and water distribution systems affect system load and energy efficiency. As the ducts and pipes age, there are leakages and effective area reduction that causes higher losses. Imagine an air handler fan that is pumping 10,000 cfm air to the building. What if only 7000 cfm treated air reaches the building and the remaining 300 cfm is lost through leakages.
